BEHIND THE LENS
Meet Martine "Marti” Bois
(Mar-teen B-wah)
Motherhood broke me wide open, and through the cracks, my purpose found its way in.
Before I became a mom, I was a creative soul searching for something deeper. I chased impact, attention, and affirmation, thinking it would fill the void. But nothing stuck then I stepped into the most transformative (and terrifying) role of my life: motherhood.
Pregnancy and postpartum depression shattered my identity. I didn't recognize the woman I saw in the mirror. But through therapy, faith, and God’s grace, I began to rebuild. I discovered that my sensitivity wasn’t a weakness, it was actually my superpower. My compassion wasn’t too much it was the very thing that I needed that could help carry someone else through their darkest season.
Today, I serve moms the way I once needed to be served. Through photography, laughter, prayer, and real conversations, I remind mothers that they matter. Not just as caregivers, but us as women and people who deserve to be seen, celebrated, and supported.
This isn’t just my business, it’s my ministry. I capture joy in the mess. I hold space for honesty. I uplift moms in the ways the world often forgets to. Because when you pour into the mother, you pour into the entire home.
You’re not alone. You’re not too much. You’re not forgotten. And there’s space for your story here.
